Review:
Anthony Hopkins portrays the likable and
inspiring Burt Munro who never gives up on his desire to fulfill his
dream, to set a land speed record at the Bonneville Salt Flats on his
vintage Indian motorcycle. In New Zealand Munro is surrounded by a
unique and likable cast of characters. In particular his relationship
with the neighbors young son is entertaining and demonstrates both his
sincerity and easy going personality. When Munro arrives in the United
States he is like a fish out of water and people are drawn to him out of
curiosity and wonder.
This is a movie the whole family can
watch and come away feeling good.
